The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are proud to announce that 20-year old Forward Brandon Buhr has committed to play NCAA Division 1 Men’s Hockey at Union College in Schenectady New York.
After beginning the season with Clarkson, Buhr returned to the Bulldogs prior to the Christmas break and posted 18 points in 21 games. Buhr finished his Bulldogs career with 49 goals and 45 assists for 94 points in 91 BCHL games. After leading the Bulldogs in playoff scoring last season with 12 points in 10 games, Buhr has picked up where he left off last season with 6 points in the Bulldogs 4 game sweep of the Victoria Grizzlies.
Bulldogs head coach and general manager Joe Martin on Buhr’s commitment. “Brandon is a great player and teammate. His impact this year has been outstanding, and I’m looking forward to coaching him throughout these playoffs.”
