The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have added 2005 born Forward Gianni DiVita for the 2024-2025 season.
DiVita is 18 years old and is from Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. The 6’4 194 pound forward shoots left and played last seasons with the Trenton Golden Hawks of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. In 71 games played he scored 13 goals and added 15 assists for 28 points.
DiVita is committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey with the Lake Superior State Lakers.
On the addition of DiVita, Bulldogs Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin stated “ Gianni is a big body who is very athletic. We believe he’s just starting to scratch the surface of the potential of the player he can be in the future. He played on a great team his first season of Junior hockey, and has a passion to win.”
DiVita commented ” I’m very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Bulldogs and to be in Hockey Valley this season and I want to thank the coaches and the organization for this chance. I am looking forward to playing in front of the fans in the Dawg Pound and compete for a championship.”
Gianni will join his teammates in #hockeyvalley in advance of the season opening Golf Tournament on August 30th at the Alberni Golf Club
