The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have added 2005 born Defenceman Alexander Ståhl for the 2024-2045 season.
Ståhl is 19 years old and is from Ljungby, Sweden. The 6’2 185 pound defender shoots right and played the last two seasons Rögle BK in the J20 Nationell, the highest level junior hockey league in Sweden. He appeared in 62 games and contributed seven assists along with 41 penalty minutes.
On adding Alexander, Bulldogs Assistant Coach Ryan Rehill stated “He is a big body defencemen with the ability to have an impact on all areas of the game. He is a smooth skater that makes smart puck decisions and defends well. We are excited to add Alex to our defence core.”
Ståhl commented ”I’m really looking forward to this adventure and I’m very exited to join the Bulldogs to develop myself and help the team to win a Fred Page Cup”
Alexander will join his teammates in #hockeyvalley in advance of the season opening Golf Tournament on August 30th at the Alberni Golf Club
