The Bulldogs opened their preseason with a 3-2 win over the Grizzlies Friday night at the Dawg Pound.
McCarthy Richardson, Wyatt Blace and Luke Melnik were the goal scorers as the Bulldogs led 1-0 after one, 2-0 after two, and 3-0 in the third before the Grizzlies responded with goals by Nathan Taylor and Tom Molson marker to make it 3-2.
Shots were 45-35 Bulldogs, as Colin Winn earned 1st star honours with the win in net while Jason Cai took the loss.
The Bulldogs went 0 for 5 on the power play while the Grizzlies went 0 for 3.
The Bulldogs face the Kings in Powell River tomorrow, a 1:30 start.
