Goaltender Luke Pearson was named the Alberni Valley Bulldogs MVP for the 2020-2021 season.
Pearson, a 19-year old from Whitby Ontario will now head to Yale University to NCAA Division 1 hockey next season.
Pearson was 11-4-0 with a 3.01 and a .922 save percentage as he appeared in 17 of the Bulldogs 20 games this season, and led all BCHL goalies in saves with 579.
“Luke had a great season for us” said head coach and general manager Joe Martin. “He was very steady for us gave us a chance to win most nights. He’s ready for the next step in his career and we look forward to seeing him compete in the NCAA.”
